July 4th

Well, we had a really great July 4th weekend! It started on Friday at Zilker Park in Austin. The kids played on the playground and we did the train ride. After that we ate burgers and snow cones looking over Barton Springs. I forget what a neat town Austin is!

On Saturday we drove to Belton and met up with David's side of the family to watch the annual July 4th parade. It was great even though it was like a million degrees! After that we went back to Gammy and Papa's and just visited for awhile. We decided the kidos were just too tired to stay up and watch any fireworks so we'll have to save that for next year.

Fun Night Out

David and I took the kids out to a local German food restaurant with another couple and their son on Saturday night. They have live music and dancing on the weekends in the beer garden out back. We had SO much fun! The kids had a blast and watching them dance and be wild was entertainment alone for us :o) Here are a couple of pics and a video. This is Olivia's first dance with a boy !

Reece's 2nd Birthday

Big boy had his 2nd birthday party today at the house. We had a couple of his friends over from the neighborhood and the grandparents to keep it simple. We put up his favorite outside toys/games and had pizza and a cupcake cake. The theme was Disney Cars (of course) and he had a BLAST! Here are some pics of the day.

Happy Birthday Reece!

Preschool Graduation

Well, my baby graduated from preschool this week (snif snif). She was so excited and took it very seriously. They had a whole ceremony with pomp and circumstance playing and diplomas too...sooo cute! I've also attached a personal copy of the song they sang to the mom's in the audience...not a dry eye in the house.

South Padre Trip

Sorry I'm so behind on my posts but here is a good one!

We went to South Padre Island a couple of weeks ago and had a blast. We were suppose to go with my parents and mom and I were to fly down with the kids while dad and David drove the car with all our "stuff", however we had a change of plans. Mom and dad were unable to go at the last minute and Reece cut his toe and his doctor did not want him getting it wet or dirty (aka BEACH) so he couldn't go. We thought about cancelling all together, but Olivia was SO excited that I hated to make her miss out so we loaded up the car and drove the 6hrs down while Reece stayed with my parents. The first pic was the lifesaver which was my iphone with about 10 games I downloaded for her. It was a pretty long car ride for someone who is so full of energy. However, she got it all out at the beach. We had a day and half of total beach and pool and she loved every minute. We are going to try and go somewhere else this summer so brother can enjoy as well. I was very sad that he had to miss out....I think he would have really enjoyed it this year. Anywho, here are some pics we took.

The Latest with Us

Well, not too much going on....as you can tell. We had a great Easter and have been crazy between end of year activities at school, swim lessons, soccer practice, and spending as much time outside before the 100 degree days start. Reece is still doing great (knock on wood) just still doing prophy as scheduled and no bleeds (so far). I can hardly believe he turns 2 next month....WOW the last two years have flown by in some ways and CRAWLED by in others.

Here are some pics of what's been happening in our lives since our last post...enjoy!
